Just curious. Has anyone measured the Current/power draw as a function of load for these mounts? Would be curious to see what that curve it if exists.

Not precisely, I have been slewing about 10kg around at 5deg/sec and my UPBV3 can hardly tell the difference (about 0.6A). If you are concerned about maximum power draw, you might try using a small slower slew speed. I am upping the load and will set mine to 3deg/sec, which is fast enough.
