P9444 error from WD 20P

Today while imaging the sun, my WD 20P developed a problem and refused to move. When using the Mount Tool I receive error code P9444 in all boxes when reading values from the mount. I tried multiple power cycles of the mount and the PC, but the problem persists.

I also tried the hand controller, but the mount won’t move. It shows as parked, but it is actually pointing east at about a 15-degree elevation.

I’ve sent this information to WarpAstron support and I’m waiting for their response. Meanwhile, has anyone else seen this and, if so, how did you solve it?

The problem has disappeared. I unplugged all equipment from the computer, removed the counterweight and telescope, then power cycled everything. I was then able to reconnect to the mount and get normal readings from the Mount Tool. The home position was wrong, but I fixed that with the Reset Home button.

After putting the telescope and counterweight back, it works normally. Everything is connected exactly as before, so I have no idea what happened.
