Just purchased a WD20. I am intending to use NINA - but I cant get ASCOM to see the WD20. In addition, the handheld controller is stuck on ‘looking for onstep’
The oddity is I can use the warpastron mount tool to get the SN and get motor status. (its on COM8)
But the ascom diagnostic tool yields the error: connect failed:onstep wasn’t found ()
All drivers were installed from the warpastron site
hello, did you download the ascom drivers first? then you also need to download the drivers also from warpaston , which override the drivers from scoma , then you will be fine.
I would suggest using the latest ASCOM driver for OnStep. A google search will find Howard’s homepage
You know you can’t connect to the mount with anything else while the Mount Tool is connected to the mount… right? Just a thought.
