Just purchased a WD20. I am intending to use NINA - but I cant get ASCOM to see the WD20. In addition, the handheld controller is stuck on ‘looking for onstep’
The oddity is I can use the warpastron mount tool to get the SN and get motor status. (its on COM8)
But the ascom diagnostic tool yields the error: connect failed:onstep wasn’t found ()
All drivers were installed from the warpastron site
hello, did you download the ascom drivers first? then you also need to download the drivers also from warpaston , which override the drivers from scoma , then you will be fine.
Good morning, this time it happened to me.
After months of trying to get EAGLE to work from scratch and having managed to set up the remote desktop, I started installing the drivers I’d downloaded from the WarpAsron website – the Ascom drivers. When I ran the connection tester in the Ascom Diagnostic programme, it only showed two COM ports, and the result for both was ‘connection failed’.
I find myself a little demoralized by the situation.
Having EAGLE 3 I have 4 USB ports + 2 for SSDs + 2 USB for astronomical cameras.
After installing the CP210x drivers there is only one port that I can actually connect to and it is that of the filter wheel. I tried to replace the position of the socket but nothing helped.
So last night I installed the program (included in the EAGLE update) to increase the com ports virtually.
The strange thing is that having 8 ports I can only use one of them, which is still used by the photographic camera. Now I don’t know what to do anymore
