Hi just wondering if I can use the newer ASCOM 7 Platform?
The mount already seems to run some of the asynchronous commands, as reported by the conform utility:

Unless there is a compelling reason to update, I would give it some time for the apps and drivers to get aligned first… tempting as it is!

Ok I ended up rolling back to the ASCOM platform on warpastro’s site. My guiding was not working properly (As in DEC was not working). When I rolled back to 661.3673 guiding all of a sudden worked again.
I notice that ASCOM 7 is now the default download on the ASCOM website. I’m changing over NUCs and I will check if pulse guiding is broken. I’m sure someone else would have noticed before now if it was the platform issue. I just loaded the developer extensions in Visual Studio today too, so that I can develop a utility to use for PA and monitoring weather.
It works for me. I also updated the Onstep driver to 1.0.40 if I recall correctly. My biggest hurdle was the check box for reversing DEC after meridian flip in PHD2. Apart from that it was all good.
